Privacy Policy
App data
StickFight does not send gameplay, identifiers, or analytics to a developer-operated server. It has no advertising SDKs, tracking, user accounts, chat, or developer analytics. It does not request your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or location.
Jake Haas develops StickFight. Privacy questions can be sent to jake@jakehaas.com.
Data on your device
The app stores settings, tutorial completion, campaign progress, ranks, collected scrolls, earned ink, upgrades, cosmetic ownership and equipment, unlocked fighters, New Game+ status, and a cached Full Game purchase entitlement in local app storage. Nearby play also stores your chosen fighter name and a local peer identity used to reconnect devices.
There is no in-game cloud save service. Device backups may include app data, depending on your Apple settings. Reset Progress erases gameplay progress and earned items while keeping settings and purchased access. Deleting the app removes its local data; Apple retains the purchase record so access can be restored.
Purchases and Apple services
Apple processes the optional Full Game purchase through StoreKit. Apple handles payment, account information, refunds, and purchase history under its own policies. StickFight receives verified transaction information needed to grant or restore the unlock and caches that access on your device. The developer does not receive your card details, and the app does not forward receipts to a developer server.
Apple may provide app diagnostics or aggregated store reports according to your Apple settings and Apple’s policies. StickFight does not include a separate analytics service. Apple’s privacy policy is at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Nearby multiplayer
Local two-phone battles use Apple’s MultipeerConnectivity framework. The app requests Local Network permission to find and connect nearby players. You can decline it and continue using single-player modes, or change it in iPhone Settings.
While hosting, your fighter name and game compatibility information are advertised nearby. Your connected opponent receives your fighter and stage selections, match settings, button inputs, synchronization checks, and pause, rematch, or quit signals. The match connection uses the encryption provided by Apple’s framework. There is no developer matchmaking server. Choose a fighter name you are comfortable showing to nearby people.
Support and website visits
If you email support, your email address, message, and any attachments are received by the developer and email providers to answer your request. Send only what is needed; do not send passwords or payment details. You can request deletion of support messages at jake@jakehaas.com, subject to any applicable retention obligations.
Opening the support or privacy link uses your browser. These static pages contain no added analytics or advertising scripts. Hosting and network providers may process standard web request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the pages.
Changes and contact
