Privacy Policy
Overview
This policy explains how Cron Lab, an app for iPhone and iPad and Android made by Jake Haas, handles your information. The short version: Cron Lab does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
Information I collect
None. Cron Lab has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. I do not receive any personal information about you or how you use the app.
Cron Lab works completely offline. Your expressions, saved schedules, and settings live on your device, and the app's own code makes no network requests — there is no server, no sync, and no account.
Backups are files you control. Exporting your library writes a JSON file wherever you choose, and sharing an expression uses the system share sheet. Neither sends anything to me. The home-screen widget reads the same on-device data as the app.
The one component that talks to the internet is the store's billing library — StoreKit on iPhone and iPad, Google Play Billing on Android — which handles the optional one-time Pro purchase (on Android it is also why the app technically carries the network permission, since the billing library brings it along). Apple or Google processes the purchase under their own privacy policy; I never see your payment details.
The app requests nothing personal: no location, no contacts, no camera, and no access to your files beyond the backups you explicitly save or open.
Third-party services
Cron Lab does not embed third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, and it does not share data with anyone — there is nothing to share.
Any purchase — the app itself or anything inside it — is handled by the store you downloaded from: Apple through the App Store, or Google through Google Play. That company processes the payment under its own policies; I never receive your payment details.
Children's privacy
Cron Lab does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13 — because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
