Terms of Use
Acceptance
By downloading or using StopWatch, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
License
StopWatch is licensed, not sold. Jake Haas grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use StopWatch on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, subject to the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Acceptable use
Please do not copy, resell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of StopWatch, except to the extent these restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
Purchases
Any purchase — StopWatch itself or features within it — is handled by Apple through the App Store and is subject to Apple's payment, billing, and refund policies. I do not process payments and never receive your payment details.
Disclaimer of warranties
StopWatch is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that it will meet your requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jake Haas will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of StopWatch.
Apple and the App Store
These Terms are between you and Jake Haas only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for StopWatch or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for StopWatch. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the app; if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to StopWatch, including product-liability, regulatory, or intellectual-property claims.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you. You also represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Changes to these terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. The date above shows the most recent change, and continued use of StopWatch after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
